CI International Is Growing!

Littleton, CO (November 2011) CI International is pleased to announce that Laura Shannon has been promoted to a training specialist and will be delivering team, leadership, communication and performance management workshops for the firm’s clients. Laura completed her University of Denver, Master of Professional Studies in Leadership and Organizations over the last few years while also performing key administrative responsibilities in the CI home office. With the addition to the office staff of Alfredo Rodriguez, Laura will join the training team full time.

Laura is a subject matter expert in generational diversity and inclusion and has recently designed a curriculum to help leaders understand, embrace, and effectively manage a generationally diverse organization. She has already worked with some of CI’s customers: USDA Forest Service, GSA, Department of Labor, Office of Personnel Management, and National Institutes of Health. She is an avid camper and enjoys hiking, biking, and vegetable gardening. “I’ve recently started Irish Step Dancing with my daughter,” Shannon said, “but I don’t anticipate joining the "Riverdance" tour any time soon!”

Alfredo Rodriguez is an excellent addition to the staff having received his degree a year ago in Communication with a Public Relations Certificate from the University of Colorado, Denver. Alfredo, a Colorado native, enjoys outdoor activities including fishing and team sports. “I’m excited to join CI and bring my passion and commitment to a firm that has communication at its core,” said Rodriguez. While a part of the Denver Public Safety Cadet Program he worked in law enforcement serving in the Chief of Police Office, the Public Information Office, the Forensic Photography Lab, and the Gang Investigations Unit. “We’re privileged to have Alfredo as part of the CI team,” said CI CFO Todd Reisler. “He’s quickly learning the wide range of duties required in our busy home office that supports a nationally-dispersed employee base and diverse clientele.”
