Monday, July 9, 2007 (Washington, DC), leading international, organizational development company CI International was selected as the Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Small Business of the Year for its support of the Department in the area of leadership development, consulting, executive coaching, and strategic planning.
The Award was presented to CI International at an award ceremony held at USDA Headquarters in Washington DC on June 20, 2007. Gilbert Smith, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Administration, USDA; Jovita Carranza, Deputy Administrator, Small Business Administration; and James House, Director, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, USDA; presided over the ceremony and presented CI International representatives with the Award.
            CI International was selected for their outstanding support of USDA departmental organizations and agencies including the Office of Inspector General, the Forest Service, the Food Safety and Inspection Service, the Animal, Plant Health Inspection Service, and the Economic Research Service.

           CI International has been supporting USDA and its agencies since 1997 conducting leadership programs, supervisory development, leadership team off-sites, congressional testimony training and services in change management, strategic planning, executive coaching, and facilitation.
