This workshop could be entitled “Self-Leadership”.
It is about reflection and understanding based on the
premise that, in order to be able to lead others by example,
we must first be able to lead ourselves.
This is not “leadership by the numbers”.
There are no set formulas or checklists. Leadership
is about moving both oneself and one’s organization
to a better place. Because it involves human interaction,
it is often unpredictable, difficult and even maddening.
It also brings great rewards. You will learn how to
make a positive difference in yourself and your organization.
Through a series of exercises, activities and discussion
you will examine more deeply what it means to lead by
example.
Objectives include:
- Gain insight into building and maintaining effective
leadership habits
- Reaffirm the foundational nature of values and character
to effective leadership
- Help participants identify their personal vision
and provide tools to make goals in support of that
vision a reality
- Help participants identify and understand their
leadership style through the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
(MBTI) and gain insight into themselves and others.
What Makes CI Leadership Training Unique
CI leadership training creates an open and safe learning
environment. Participants are fully engaged in learning.
Our role is to facilitate the collective wisdom in the
room so that participants learn as much as possible
from each other as well as from leadership experts.
CI senior facilitators utilize leading edge communication
skills such as skillful discussion and coaching techniques
to guide leaders to a better understanding of themselves
and their leadership challenges.
Duration: Two days.
