Leader as Mentor

Nothing a leader does takes more focus and attention than growing the next generation of leaders. In this highly-interactive workshop, you will learn coaching and mentoring styles and approaches, and know when to move along the continuum from autocratic to democratic—from providing all the answers to a collaborative and inclusive style. You will learn practical, useful communication skills such as when and how to listen, and how to build confidence in people by requiring answers from them. Through group discussions and a series of interactive, challenging activities, you’ll gain an understanding of your role and responsibilities in creating strong, empowered individuals ready to move to the next level of responsibility and leadership.
